Consilium clothing - experts in promotional clothing.A company in the US has started offering promotional clothing featuring vintage images from the history of Flint, Michigan. Flint Vintage has created reproductions of printed t-shirts which feature images of Flint from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Some of the printed t-shirts feature images associated with the now closed General Motors facility, such as the Buick from 1984 and the AC Spark Plug from 1965. Other items of printed clothing bear the images of local drinking establishments, businesses and events, such as the Flint Bluegrass Festival in 1977.Shawn Chittle, a Flint native who now lives in New York City, came up with the idea a year ago after he gave one of the shirts to novelist Ben Hamper who wrote the Rivethead."He just loved it so much," Chittle explained to local news network WNEM. "His reaction inspired me to do something unique this holiday season for fans of Flint, but also try to raise a little money for a worthy charity." The company intends to donate 25 per cent of net profits from sales of the printed clothing to the Flint Whaley Children's Center. Find out more about our printed clothes
