A global organisation which provides vital free footwear for the needy is making an extra effort to raise funds in honour of a tireless aid-worker and friend.David Graeme Parrish was 22-years-old when he was killed while trying to protect his mother from a robber and now Nashville-based Soles4Souls are promoting the honorary David Parrish flip-flop in his memory.The footwear was designed by David and his sister Lesley and goes on sale later this month at $10 (£5) with the knock-on effect that two extra pairs will be shipped to Africa where they are needed most.Founder and chief executive of Soles4Souls Wayne Elsey said: "This touching tribute will honour David and also help Soles4Souls continue our mission to 'Change the World One Pair at a Time'."The logo on the footwear features the Flatirons rock formations of Boulder Colorado, David's hometown and the gender and sizes that go overseas will be decided according to the local need.
