A corporate awareness firm in Edinburgh has experienced growth over recent months, despite the economic slowdown.Recognition Express reported an increase of 50 per cent in sales over the last quarter and plans to expand its promotional clothes division.Organic and fair-trade clothing for schools will be added later this year, reports the Scotsman.The new branded clothes offerings will be on sale alongside other embroidery and t-shirt printing services."Almost all of our business growth has come from word of mouth recommendation or cross-selling goods to existing clients," owner Graham Mitchell told the newspaper."In these challenging economic times it's more important than ever to invest in growth. That's why we're revamping our approach to decorative clothing, and I'm sure it will be a hit."Meanwhile, online directory Businessmanagement has suggested that promotional clothing can help to increase brand awareness during the current economic climate, with spending on promotional gifts up in the UK.
