Consilium clothing - experts in screen printed clothing.A company in the US has launched a new limited-edition range of neo-noir themed printed clothing.The Brooklyn-based nopooh firm has produced the Noir Spring 2009 collection which is claimed to channel a "sense of mystery and foreboding". For the six original designs, the company used non-conventional colours and images to convey a theme of "uncertainty rather than unbridled optimism".This includes the Intruder printed t-shirt in black which features a pixelated shadow similar to the stylised artwork in graphic novels by Frank Miller. Artist Rob Tanner and fashion photographer Mark Babushkin launched nopooh in September 2008 to produce hand-made screen printed clothing. Their original and eye-catching artwork is transferred onto printed clothing with a keen eye on popular culture and the need to be distinctive in the process.
