Consilium clothing - experts in digitally printed clothing.A new collection of printed clothing has been launched to honour the deceased rock star Kurt Cobain. Clothing company Worn Free has created the vintage printed clothing to coincide what would have been the singer's 42nd birthday on February 20th. Cobain shot to worldwide fame with his band Nirvana as part of the grunge rock scene which rose out of the US city of Seattle in the early 1990s. However, after struggling for many years with drug addiction, the star committed suicide on April 8th 1994.The printed t-shirts hark back to the vintage, thrift-store style rock shirts which were worn in Cobain's heyday in the mid-1990s. This includes the famous 'Grunge is Dead' shirt worn by the singer, alongside his favoured 'Hi, How Are You' top and Sounds magazine printed t-shirt.Worn Free offers a range of vintage clothing honouring such rock stars as John Lennon, Joan Jett, Frank Zappa and Iggy Pop.
