Consilium clothing - experts in digitally printed clothing.Caribbean Airlines has launched a new printed t-shirt collection ahead of the official start of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival next week.The airline has collaborated with artist Hunter and the Machel Montano HD crew for the printed clothing range. Popular personalities on the Carnival circuit - Zan, Farmer, Patrice Roberts and Umi Marcano - were all present for the launch of the collection. The printed t-shirts feature images of five characters from the event's history: the Fancy Indian, Jab Molassis, Dame Lorraine, Pierrot Grenade and Moko Jumbie.Customers are able to purchase the clothing from the Caribbean Airlines duty free store at Piarco International Airport.Michael Roberts, Caribbean Airlines director of retail services, told local news network SFCN that the company is keen to showcase traditional carnival culture. "We need to ensure that the diverse culture and history of traditional Ole mas is not swept away as Carnival continues to develop at a rapid pace," he explained. "We at Caribbean Airlines feel that we have an obligation to do our part to preserve local culture and traditions."The Ole mas carnival runs on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago from February 23rd to 24th.
