Southampton Football Club is offering fans the opportunity to claim a free item of promotional clothing in time for Christmas.

Customers can secure the free item of embroidered clothing which the team wear while playing matches away from home.

The shirt can be claimed by starting a Paddy Power betting account via Southampton FC's official website.

Fans then need to place a £25 bet on who will be Southampton's top scorer by the end of season in order to claim their free shirt.

In order to receive the embroidered clothes before Christmas, all orders must be placed prior to December 12th to allow enough time for postage.

Customers signing up to the account will also receive a free £20 bet after placing an opening wager of £10 or more.

South-coast club Southampton FC currently play in the Championship, which is the league below England's top division of the Premiership.
