Consilium clothing - experts in workwear clothing.
A school on Tyneside has taken the bold decision of allowing its pupils to design their new workwear.
Children at the Westfield School in Gosforth, Newcastle, previously expressed their eagerness to update the current uniform, reports the Journal.
A pupil-led focus group including parents and teachers was then established by the school in order to design the new range of uniforms.
The finalised workwear has a midnight blue tartan skirt featuring a pink and white check motif coupled with a salmon pink shirt and a navy jumper.
Emma Gillespie, who played a leading role in the design project, revealed that they wanted to give the uniforms a "contemporary and fashionable look".
"The biggest alteration was in changing the main colour from royal blue to navy, as we felt it smarter and more grown up," Ms Gillespie explained.
"We're delighted with the outcome. The new uniform is fantastic and something we're very proud to wear."
The environmentally-conscious school has also expressed its intention to recycle all the old school uniforms and donate the proceeds to the Children's Foundation.
